Exploring Louisville and eating really well

414 Baxter Avenue  •

The trip brought me to Louisville this morning. I was hungry and pulled you some suggestions from Yelp. Biscuit Belly -NuLu was at the too if the list and was a solid choice. It was 11:07, A little late for breakfast, a little early for a cocktail. Somehow, it all works ridiculously well. Just another good experience in an already fantastic road trip. The restaurant is clean, bright, opening and welcoming. Geometric tile behind the bar and white walls with Turquoise and yellow accents creates a sense of fun and happiness. The menu was filled with one delectable choice after another. The biggest disappointment is that I couldn’t try them all. Well at least not in one afternoon, but I debated about attempting it. Heigold Facade Built by Christian H Heigold, the facade has stood for over 175 years. It still stands today, as an expression of I ts owner’s enduring belief in the American experiment. Christian H. Heigold was a successful stonecutter who immigrated to Louisville from Germany in 1850. Dinner at Agave and Rye : My friend had posted pictures of the food here last week. It caught my eye. So we stopped for a quick dinner. The atmosphere was cool. The stark black and white and funky, somewhat Agro graphics really set an intense mood. The place was packed but service was extremely quick. I had the vegetarian street tacos and a cocktail. It was a great choice and the chips help soak it up. A Walk in Cherokee Park. After dinner, we needed some movement and a short walk around this park was enjoyable. There were people and runners out everywhere. We took the passing trails. The cicadas were flying and buzzing around. Seeing the holes in the ground from their emerging was wild. Like the trail had been aerated.
